Summer is a great time to replace your windows as you don’t need to worry about the cold air rushing in or heating the outside while the work is being done. New windows, with low-e coatings, installed during the summer will also maximize the value you receive from them over the winter.
Additions/decks
Summer is a time for easy living, but also a time for easy digging. Winter foundation and deck footing excavation and concrete work can be delayed and take longer because of frost conditions. We don’t have that problem in the summer. And, as mentioned before, you don’t have to worry about heating the outside or shutting your house down if the project involves removing walls, doors and windows.
